How do I install the Beacon?
Remove the magnet and place the EZB-5 the hidden location and if it checks in it is good for three years, 4 times a day. We suggest a plastic bag and tape to keep the unit clean. Tape it, Glue it, Velcro it, mount it with screws. No wiring, no power needed, and no power drain. Make sure the unit is not behind metal. Do not screw through the case.
The warranty for the device is further limited by a “standard use” specification. Standard use covers tracking in its designed modes of operation with 1 Discovery mode cycle and a maximum of 6 days or 144 hours in Recovery mode over the 3-year warranty period. Use of the Discovery and Recovery modes beyond this standard use specification will accelerate battery depletion and will void the warranty.
The Equipment Unit limited warranty is equal to the amount of airtime purchased by Customer with the Device, not to exceed 3 years, provided that such limited warranty shall terminate if the airtime payments become delinquent or the airtime period expires.
